Anticapitalista: why?
And what is svmi? (sorry, I guess I completely missed that thing *shrug*)
Yes, please start a separate VB topic if you run into problems. I would be particularly interested if a virtualbox users group is created and you user name is added.

Downloaded 32 bit Debian Google Chrome, did not install: Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libxss1 (X11 Screen Saver extension library)

I opened synaptic found the missing dependency & installed. Afterwards was able to install Google Chrome version: 33.0.1750.146

Where did the dependency come from? Did you have to add any other repo?

How do I put file manager on taskbar (Kicker/Panel)? Was very convenient in previous versions of M-14 betas...

It was in the software list, I did not need to add another repo. Do you want to me to do another fresh install to see if I can duplicate the missing dependency?

No its not necessary. My guess is it came from Debian repo and not debian backports. As long as it is working.

Oh, debian chrome is chromium right? The meta-installer should have installed it.

The libxss1 package is in the regular Debian Wheezy repos: https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/libxss1.

How did you install the google-chrome-stable package, Gdebi or dpkg?

Had the repos been loaded at least once either from a 'apt-get update' or by clicking the 'Reload' button in Synaptic?

(Gdebi would probably complain if the repo package lists hadn't yet been loaded)

What Manager? Settings Manager is already there. Otherwise, please read docs on QuickStart and Customization, where all this kind of thing is laid out. Thanks.

RC2 is very nice. Language and localization is perfect, can't find anything wrong at first look.
