Thank you. Very simple setup actually.

Icons: Numix square (available on Github)
Theme: Adapta Grey or Blue Grey (found a .deb package with lots of accent colours), horizontal panel is slightly transparent, left side deskbar is totally transparent, shadows are deactivated in Window manager tweaks
Concky: it's the very first one on the list of the Concky manager, just changed one colour in the manager, changed the position in the settings, in the manager
Main (MX) menu icon: downloaded the extra icon set for the main menu from the popular packages in the MXPI, chose the first one
Wallpaper: found it yesterday on internet

Thanks, the start menu icon I chose is in the Papirus "status" icons.

Simple and clean. Task tray (Lower Right), set to autohide.

This is an old laptop that was in the cupboard for 2 years .... i thought it had died long ago.

On a whim, i installed MX linux and miraculously it worked... now my 8 year old daughter has a nice laptop to use ... she chose the theming...

thanks mx linux .... i have only been using it on my own machine for a week but am incredibly impressed and have started spreading the word

Welcome to the forum. I kind of like her choice of themes, but I can't help wonder why she chose the conky that has the chemical or molecular structure of LSD. :)

we had a look at every conky and that one looked best with the wallpaper
