OK. What about the 'two chromiums', one say it is 'auto mode' and other 'manual mode' ... which one is the real one?

They are the same thing. "auto" just means that it has been automatically selected as your default browser.

hello dolphin_oracle
systemd
i reported that kde not running on systemd.
now turned to xfce trial using systemd does not start.
forced into root account it says it is hung on power manager.
no shutdown buttons are all broken.
halt.
back to sysV everything works sysV.

I cannot duplicate. I suggest checking for unfinished updates.

If your hardware likes the ahs releases will it be OK to run these betas? I just realized that when updating kernels from an ahs one, that works, one should stick with ahs. Not sure how MX-23 relates to the liquorix kernels, if at all.

Cannot Connect TPM Chip.

Just did installing mx23_fluxbox beta2 and it does not start on systemd.
three systems, kde xfce fluxbox, across two machines. no systemd beta2. a lot of installing. i have a fluxbox-alpha running systemd.

I was installing this option: Source code (tar.gz)

Switch for option:

ventoy-1.0.93-linux.tar.gz

and it worked correctly

... but it erased the previously installed system: MX-21

*During the installation it said something like it was going to format the "device", I assumed it was the partition inside the corresponding ventoy ... not all of it ...

It should be able to keep a partition to itself, and UPDATE it not format it all...
I also did that on a 256GB drive and it worked. I did update it though I don't know if you chose the wrong option or if it's a bug.
This version is very buggy !

Updated a stick to the latest Ventoy version (using GUI), generated modified ISO snapshots.
From mod-ISO used MXPI to add handbrake, libbdplus, libbluray, libdvdcss;
used copy/paste (substituting Bookworm for Bullseye) to add makemkv via deb.
Test rig couldn't play Blu-ray disc directly (can't play 1080p with vlc) but handbrake-shrunk 480p played OK.
