both posts are by manyroads. however his dotfiles and the tutorials are too old now. some packages and configs need to be upgraded. i had a great inspiration from eirenicon.com though so hatsoff to manyroads for that.
Well, so we are waiting for your new bspwm tuto now ;-)
I guess it is this one ?:

Been running this experimental XFWM4 theme for several weeks now alongside a slightly modded Greybird theme. It feels good ergonomically.

Installed MX Linux a few days ago. Best distro i've ever ran. I won't boot into windows anymore unless absolutely needed.

Obviously this one is a little bit of a copy of a certain fruit company, but overall I think this looks great. Smooth, fast and easy on the eyes.

Emerald theme is "Mu", one of the more modern-looking ones.

My weather conky uses TeoBigusGeekus' wunderground script and weather icons. Am now using wunderground more, since TBG's accuweather script is affected by regular changes made by Accuweather.com. The wunderground script hasn't been updated for some time, and there are one or two minor data items that aren't extracted in the right line of the data file, but it was fairly easy to figure out what was what (at least, for the purposes of my fairly simple conky).
