Yes - under 'Other' in Edit>Preferences.

There is a user agent manager in Preferences>Other.

yahoomail works, but you do get that screen warning you to "upgrade"

Is there a 64-bit version, or some advantage to running a 32-bit kernel on 64-bit capable systems?
Yup, 32 bit, no plans for a 64-bit version

The record is that they all say the same!

whell wrote:Similar results here. QupZilla doesn't seem to like my Yahoo mail. I get taken to a page in Yahoo that asks me to use IE or Firefox instead. If I click on a link that allows me to proceed to Yahoo mail with QupZilla, Yahoo sends me back to the IE/Firefox page. The good news is that Firefox installs fast and easy with the meta-installer. ;)
I think it's more than a QupZilla problem. I access one of my Yahoo emails on Squeeze with Galeon and observed this same behavior begin yesterday. It's stuck on a loop back to a Firefox/Safari update announcement. Very annoying. But then the Yahoo redesign is a disaster in so many ways . . .

System is now installed and ready for testing.

First observations:

Startup fast
Found Wireless Network without any problems
Recognized and set up mature Wacom Tablet
Desktop will take a little getting time to embrace. Been with KDE, Gnome, or Unity for too long.
Shutdow fast

It looks like something I can put to good use.

Suggest you read the QuickStart document (question mark on Panel) to get going.

Jerry,

It just takes some "old" folks a little longer to get used to something different. :p

There's a few more computers out there that can use a 32-bit OS. Most of those will run a PAE kernel. (For instance my Atom NetBook is 32-bit only, but will use a PAE kernel.) Super old hardware will need antiX. It's i486 version will run on almost anything. Including the latest and greatest.
If you need 64-bit then Mepis is ready and waiting.
