In MX repo manager, on the individual sources tab, under MX List . Check the ahs repo check box and then apply. Once you do
in a terminal, you will be good to go. (I believe the updater will also do that the next time it runs too.

That's so you will get automatic updates to Liquorix kernels, soon to be 6.13.6 if not already. That's not really necessary, concentrate first on the crashes.
Also, use MX Cleanup to remove any unused wi-fi drivers, since you don't need them and they just waste a lot of time rebuilding for every new kernel.

I'd like to share my current status: I was able to stop the crashes by replacing the Emtec SSD with another one. I find it strange, since it doesn't have any obvious errors and I'm still using it. But MX Linux doesn't seem to like it. Now it seems to be running stable.

Is it safe to click on MX Cleanup to remove “unused Wi-Fi drivers”?

Yes, you can remove unused Wi-Fi drivers and it should be safe for your machine.
