Haha, once people have had that they don't give it up easily... My first AVL version on MX was XFCE4 w/Openbox (no Desktop Icons, I don't do iDesk) and there was a LOT of b*tching about it. My answer was verbatim what you said "use the panel, the menu or the dock" Nope!
