Thanks, now I see it in the enables repo's page, so much to learn. I installed the tool and with the GUI it seems quite easy to use. When I performed the first sweep it identified 1.3 GB of package caches which seem to be all .deb files. At first I thought these were programs that I have installed (I have downloaded and manually installed some .deb files) however most of these I don't recognize. I think .deb files are only used for installation so there is no harm in deleting them but I would like a second opinion if possible pleas.e

Under package Caches ? yes delete away.

And if your GUI driven, the "Run disk Usage Analyzer" ( MX Cleanup ) is very good at showing you graphically what is taking up space.

Thank you, and I am really finding Stacer useful, don't know why they don't include this by default.
