@anticapitalista, Notwithstanding that I love this little application, the OP's (@Antediluvian's) issue regarding the intial screen for the antiX Advert Blocker, the one that reads beginning with "The antiX Advert Blocker tool adds stuff to your /etc/hosts file ..." is correct. On a small display, the window is too tall by default and the user cannot see the action buttons, and also cannot drag the window corners or top or bottom edge to make it any smaller in order to show those buttons, Cancel or OK. That should be an easy fix.

Maybe that's only an issue on MX - Xfce and not in antiX:
This I see on MX-21-Xfce with screen size 1024x768 and latest advert-block-antix :
in different langauges the text shown differs in length and so the hight of the window varies
English:
adblock-en-1024x768.jpg
German:
adblock-de-1024x768.jpg
And for some languages the displayed window would not show any button without moving the window upwards:
French:
adblock-fr-1024x768.jpg
Greek:
adblock-el_GR-1024x768.jpg
So not sure if that's only an MX/Xfce issue.
A potential tweak-fix could look likes this:
English:
adblock-en-1024x768-tweaked.jpg
French:
adblock-fr-1024x768-tweaked.jpg
German:
adblock-de-1024x768-tweaked.jpg
Greek:
adblock-el_GR-1024x768-tweaked.jpg

Complaining about people arguing and then arguing about why something that is free isn't good enough? Special!

Talk to yourself much, eh?

@fehlix I'm not catching what you are throwing. What is the actual fix? I've played around with changing the window size to little effect. seems to me every /n in the adblock text adds more lines to the window.

The pictures showing the main window of a fixed draft version, which is not yet uploaded anywhere,
if this is what you asking?
