It is for me. Why should I install multiple applications to get the amount of variety I'm looking for? If I can find one tool that does that, awesome!

I just use QMPlay2. It has a youtube/media viewer, great built-in youtube downloader (which is regularly updated) and has a good search function for internet radios. So it serves quite a few functions useful to me.
Desktop: Intel i5-4460, 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics
Clevo N130WU-based Ultrabook: Intel i7-8550U (Kaby Lake R), 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics (UEFI)

Agree, it's a fine little program. Reading this post I installed it as well. The repo offers version 1.4.2 which doesn't seem to have the problem described above with having to hit PAUSE before closing so as to stop it playing. I read somewhere this only started with version 1.5 so that may be why. Anyway, the icon sits in my docklike taskbar (which btw I've come to REALLY appreciate), and closing the app stops it playing just as it should :-)Sparky wrote: Fri Jul 29, 2022 2:17 pm I saw this post yesterday and installed it.
