World Cup goal celebrations ‘cause earthquake’ in Mexico City
https://www.rt.com/sport/430033-world-c ... arthquake/
Mexico’s Institute of Geological and Atmospheric Research reported an increase in seismic activity at exactly the moment Lozano scored in the 35th minute of the game against reigning champions Germany – sparking mass celebrations among the thousands in the stadium in Moscow and the millions watching back home.

The Germany-Mexico game was awful. While Mexico did play well, I don't know why Germany even bothered to show up for the game with how poorly they played. On top of it was the bias referee that gives a yellow card in the first half to the German player that was mugged by the Mexico player that had his arms around the German player. Mr. Magoo could see this and would have been a better referee. Even with this horrendous refereeing, it didn't impact the end result of the game but that referee should be fired. Congratulations to Mexico.

That's how it looks when you meet a better team, or a team that has a style that can annihilate your style, sometimes is luck -- I don't count Germany out by any measure.

1:2 against Gaul was a fair effort, despite the controversy.

For sure. Neither side were dominant. Maybe Oz can beat Denmark on Thursday to stay in it.

Oz v Denmark has the added Princess Mary factor and is sure to be of interest to the respective nations.
