Perhaps. I did not touch it, that is the Qpz default.

EDIT: no, we have to change it, YouTube doesn't like it, clicking on the arrow just brings an error.

Thanks; if this is going to be the default, perhaps the Network bookmark should be removed?

Those that have it, ok and keep it for a patch.
I downloaded the delta patch before this post. I was gonna xdelta the Beta 1. I will wait for a reply before deleting

Code: Select all

harry@biker ~/isos/MX14 $ ls
b1-b2_delta b1-b2_delta.md5
10051fa8dc269e722604f0c56cf37652 b1-b2_delta
In case my delta was pulled for fixing also. Edit. P.S. I have not ran xdelta on the Beta 1 iso yet so everything is original and static still.

1. Wireless will not connect with Network Manager, all previous versions were not an issue. Edimax N300, Realtech, but I cannot get the series number from inxi (see below). Is either EW-7317UG or EW-7317UHG
2. Ceni hangs when trying to switch from network manager to ceni control.
3. INXI -F hangs at the point reporting the network information if ceni has been tried.
4. System restart hangs at shutting down network
4. Reboot gives ceni control of networking, but ceni hangs trying to configure.

I will have to try a reinstall as I cannot get a network connection.

PS. Before trying ceni a direct ethernet connection did work.
It looks like all the previous realtek firmware is still installed, so hopefully you just got a weird install for some reason.

network-manager working fine here, with intel wireless. (iwlwifi)

beta2 has a lot more wireless firmware than beta1. Maybe there is a conflict somewhere?

I just booted MX-14 beta 2 and installed it.
No problem for me, but the internal hard drive in my Dell mini 10 netbook is listed as sdc
(I think this is a USB thing because several of the hardware cards in this netbook are on USB internally).
The SD card that I have the MX-14 beta 2 ISO on, connected with a USB reader, is listed as sda.
I almost forgot and installed the bootloader/grub on sda (SD card).
Broadcom BCM4312 WiFi uses wl driver in "Live" mode, and all I had to do to get connected was to input my password for my WiFi wpa setting.
After installing MX-14 beta 2 to my hard drive, I booted to the desktop with working wifi. !! yeah! thank you! :)
I know this is an old netbook from 2009, but having GMA500 poulsbo graphics, and Broadcom WiFi working in Live and installed setups, makes me very happy.
I'll post my results over at the Dell Mini forum, even though that site is pretty slow these days.
I haven't done much else with this yet. I'm just happy my netbook works in this version.

Jon, your netbook is the same age as mine. Who would have thought these things could work so well for so long.
MX-14 is absolutely perfect on a netbook.

Reinstalled and was able to get a wireless connection with network manager. Maybe a flaky first install.
