Uncle Mark, the width is fluid, it adjusts to whatever size you have. I have a 1920X 1080. It can fill the screen or half the screen with no horizontal scroll bars in FF.
As Adrian suggested, could it be an add on or a setting in FF?

No. I have not.Adrian wrote:uncle mark, do you use an autopager in Firefox? That causes some problems in Chrome for me... Also I think you can set notification policies in User Control Panel (by why subscribe to a thread if you don't want to receive notifications, I thought that's the purpose of subscribing)
Rich, you haven't enabled the pyramids on your account

Very minor point, but could the orange "MEPIS Users Forum" logo/link be removed (is it necessary?) or made smaller? It seems a bit out of place.

Right now, with this thread on page 3, it's not too wide.
But it is on page 2. And I think I know the reason -- Jerry's sig with all his system specs is waaay long. That pushes the whole page out.

And on page 1, it looks like Henry/Utopias post didn't wrap and is what is stretching the whole page too wide.
Re: New Forum Comments
Strange, on my 1440x900 his sig is only 3/4 way across the screen. And I have Google Chrome set at 120% zoom.uncle mark wrote:<q>

I don't claim to know anything, but I have an idea that it's a problem with wrapping or widths in signatures. On page one, KrispyKritters centered signature seems to be what has pushed the width of the page. On page two, I'm guessing it's Jerry's long single line of system specs. So far, page three displays okay.
Re: New Forum Comments
Sigs have a maximum of 255 characters. i just edited mine to the max. As I was adding characters they auto wrapped to the next line. How does your display look now with my max sig length.uncle mark wrote:peregrine wrote:Uncle Mark, the width is fluid, it adjusts to whatever size you have. I have a 1920X 1080. Re: New Forum Comments
It looks like yours wrapped fine. This page three of this thread hasn't shown a scroll bar like page one and two, UNTIL I posted my screenshots. They appeard to push the screen width out just a bit, giving me a scroll bar with just a teeny bit of scroll distance.richb wrote: Sigs have a maximum of 255 characters. i just edited mine to the max.
