You need to remove the logo, the topic says no logos on the wallpaper

No, that's not the rule, which was to do away with having a 'stamp" or watermark of our name and logo in the bottom right corner. That used to be what we asked members to add, and that's now gone.

The logo or name can be explored as part of the artwork, and in this case, he's using the mx name in his own way. That's not our logo.

Added: I've amended the guidelines to clarify this issue.

Ah.. Please post your works a lot, without think about someone.

Good/Quaity are NOT important, Express your passion and belief about MX Linux to your heart's content, or feel free express your image, That's ALL.

Maybe something with a mono-color, or two-tone, or a shaded/varied/faded mono-color, and sharp precise outlines of the logo.
Again, I seriously like the MXCleans, but to hyperbolize my point, IMHO, the logos appear almost cartoonish compared to the pristine yet beautiful MXClean - I hyperbolized.

Not negative, I love it, but with a twist of critique. :

Hey sir, no worries! Personally, I have the "clean" versions of both the blueish and the "line". I didnt think anyone would want them, but I will post them in a bit :-)

@CharlesV I very much like your DarkGray_Angles_MX25. I like it so much I replaced the 25 in the logo with 23 and am using it for my wallpaper, (for my own use). As I understand it this does not violate the creative Commons license.

They did when I compared the two in nomacs on my 1440 monitor. I couldn't tell the difference.

I knew that the hedge would be liked, and I enjoy using AI to do something that otherwise couldn't be done... otherwise, it would just be enough to take the right photo in the right place.

Please: go around taking photos: there are beautiful places... even if they have normal hedges.

As for those made with Linux Beaver filters, what he has done as a gegl filter can become a wallpaper ... just spending some time looking for what you want, all things can be seen on GimpChat (where LinuxBeaver is called contrast)

As for those made with Ai and Pollinations.ai, you consum you to express your creativity with Aigor ... I guarantee you will not be Terminator to look for you, the only problem is that if you imposed the resolution at 1920x1280 pixels the image will be smaller and it will be necessary to scale it with Gimp.

Very cool! I like the steampunk cat! I make AI art sometimes. I never thought about making wallpapers that way! I'm in some AI art groups on X so we're usually just making art according to whatever the daily theme is. Sometimes I just make AI art to share with friends too. My oldest son is a lot better at it than me. I'm more into the music side of things. I'm a musician. A multi-instrumentalist. Former DJ too. So I've been experimenting with using sound samples from my instruments and adding them to an AI music generating app just for fun to see what the end results are. It's not the same as using a true DAW to make music because you don't get to use your own creativity as much as with the AI music generators. Still cool though.

Thanks for the compliments for the cats. I know that the cats have their fans, then I thought that the Steampunk style would give what unreal to the images to overcome the controls with Tineye.

I detained the word "MX Linux the favorite distro from cats" to add up because then the other distro seemed to be preferred by other animals, and even that dogs prefer Windows.

Thanks! Yes, all photo's I have posted I took. I tend to snap a bunch of pix, trying to find what I think looks good, then later look at what I took and cull them out. As in the case of the Peony's I took 220ish pix and I would say I have 10 to 20 excellent images, and then another 80 or so that are pretty good.

Yes, that does look nice.

I think I have my initial right lower quadrant still ... I was thinking I was too right / lower driven so tried to mix it up a little.

It'll have to clear both a vertical and a horizontal panel position, so either lower right (where the Mepis icon always was) or upper.

I'll leave, but thought of another famous image of infinity: the Moebius Strip, which lends itself to all sorts of invention.

I had to rebuild the bottom of the mirrors as it was just kind of hanging there when I lifted it up. These both clear either version of the panel, and if you really want a cool effect, then right version on the left monitor and left version on the right monitor... gives a mirror of the mirror... hmm....

As expected Melber, Personally I think MX-25 default may be this, it's good. simple and sleek. Expressing clearly The infinity!

I'm loving the infinity band images in this thread. Especially with the simple colored backgrounds.

Two or three times a year I get tired of the wallpaper and go online and find new ones. I mostly get nature wallpaper put them in a file and use them for awhile then repeat the process. I did like the ones Charles V suggested.

When you have NOTHING ELSE TO DO--hah!--could you try reducing the size of the symbol as much as by half perhaps and see how it compares to this?

I don't specify the dimensions... my wallpapers are like crash tests, I express a fantasy, it responds with other fantasies, then one by one I use them to generate wallpapers.

But no dimensions other than those of the finished image: 1920x1280.

If something doesn't work, I throw it away and try again... until a result is satisfactory.

I am no photographer, but I thought to share one of my photos that I really like. It is one of the trireme "Olympias" that is is a reconstruction of an ancient Athenian trireme. This days it is parked in one of the ports of Pireaus, Greece, and I took a photo of it. All this editing and replacing of pics means she has to keep backtracking to check if people changed their existing posts.

I am glad you liked it! I would call it "Olympias trireme in Pireaus", but you can keep it shorter if you prefer.

I was just asking a question: I found the first 10 steampunk spaceships I had made just for myself, and they didn't have the correct format, so I resized them.

They are similar, but not the same. Should I make another post, or are 10 steampunk spaceships enough?

I believe that since I have reached 97 proposed images to match the master Hokusai, 3 are enough... and maybe not steampunk spaceships.

What you see in the post has remained the same: Preview 640x427. The originals 1920x1280. I haven't changed anything.

On my computer I have others ... if someone wants them I make a second series. But they are resembling.

Thank you, everyone, for taking the time and effort to come up with these submissions. I'm also happy that so many different members contributed, including first time posters.

There are so many good submissions that it's gong to be extremely hard for the Dev Team to choose what makes it into the wallpapers in the mx25 iso.

Whichever we choose, so many others are going to be left out, unfortunately.

However, I'm sure the whole community is grateful for this treasure trove of wonderful, original wallpapers by fellow mx users.

As long as the picture links in this thread remain viable, these pics can be enjoyed by everyone even if they don't end up in the iso. And who knows, a few might be chosen for the subsequent point releases of MX25.
