I thought I would reiterate my requests for orderly submissions in a separate post that is not linked to a specific member's submissions.

Could I request the following:

1. That members are NOT to edit existing posts with new or substituted pictures, but TO SUBMIT YOUR ADDITIONAL or VARIANT PICTURES IN A NEW POST? Peregrine is our web master and she has been collecting all the pictures in a list for the Dev Team to consider. All this editing and replacing of pics means she has to keep backtracking to check if people changed their existing posts.

We have a bumper crop of submissions this year and the list is already huge. Please don't make things more messy by changing old posts.

Going forward, if you create a variant, submit it in a fresh post AS A VARIANT. DO NOT REMOVE THE OLD EXISTING VERSION. Even if other members suggest ideas for a variant, please post as a fresh submission in a new post. Don't remove the original picture. Other members might actually prefer the original version.

2. that members please NAME your pictures, even if you do that only by providing a proper FILENAME (not just a whole string of numbers)

I am no photographer, but I thought to share one of my photos that I really like. It is one of the trireme "Olympias" that is is a reconstruction of an ancient Athenian trireme. This days it is parked in one of the ports of Pireaus, Greece, and I took a photo of it. Info about this trireme in Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympias_(trireme)) and the Official page (https://averof.hellenicnavy.gr/en/trireme-olympias).

I do not know if the quality is satisfactory, but I hope you like it. Anyone interested may download full sized photos at 1920x1200 and 3840x2400 here:

Thanks for the cool pic. Could you give your pic a name? Or can you confirm we can call it "Olympias trireme"?
I am glad you liked it! I would call it "Olympias trireme in Pireaus", but you can keep it shorter if you prefer.

I was just asking a question: I found the first 10 steampunk spaceships I had made just for myself, and they didn't have the correct format, so I resized them.

They are similar, but not the same. Should I make another post, or are 10 steampunk spaceships enough?

I believe that since I have reached 97 proposed images to match the master Hokusai, 3 are enough... and maybe not steampunk spaceships.
Excuse my spaghetti english, i m italian.

So the first 10 pics in your steampunk spaceship post now contain properly resized wallpapers but visually they are not the same as posted before?

And the original 10 pics aren't on the thread anymore?

What you see in the post has remained the same: Preview 640x427. The originals 1920x1280. I haven't changed anything.

On my computer I have others ... if someone wants them I make a second series. But they are resembling.
