I installed MX on my macbook and took a snapshot after my custom setup and created a live boot stick from it using MX Live USB.

On another PC I had an SSD that already had a btrfs partition. This SSD I have completely erased in live boot with gparted for now.
During the installation with "sudo minstall" I was always offered the manual setup of the drives, never the automatic. No matter what I selected, the installation aborted at about 11% (formatting /root or similar) and reported: No subvolumes could be created.
