@Freja I have a brand new dynamic loading animated startup and shutdown I would like you to try on that MAC please.

This version takes the 60% graphics you handed me, has them cropped to a much smaller size and then loads and scales them to screen sizes on the fly. I have put it through quite a test and it seems very good to me. (There is a little scaling that is not perfect in very strange screen sizes, but that was me being ruthless on it and I dont anticipate anyone running anything that extreme.)

Please have a look, and let me know how it goes.

__ Download and copy the the MXLiveLogo folder to /usr/share/plymouth/themes
__ In a terminal run sudo plymouth-set-default-theme -R MXLiveLogo

and you should be good to go.

I'm sorry I can't use Problem Mac due to various circumstances.

I tested it on my normal machine and I see the small difference
between gray background color and gray animation. (background color mismatch).
and on External monitor output, animation center point is slide to right. (error)

The new animations are very smooth,
but may be heavy than before version(?).

I think, the version before this one is the best version.

(Make it easy to understand version for RC. (versions a lot)
Post again and give it a descriptive name like "MXLiveLogo_forRC".)

Hmm.. k.. The latest version is definitely not heavier, and has smoother graphics. But I will check on the images. (pretty sure they are the same image, but will check.)

The previous version had trouble with the shutdown graphics, but if that is the one you feel is best, then I will try a little more to figure that issue out and then re-post it for an rc version.

I'm sorry for making you work more because I made the animation.

However, if this short animation is included in the MX official version,
it will be possible to show users a clear positive concept.

The biggest problem is the background color mismatch.
It's just a tiny bit, but it's visible to people with good eyesight.

@Freja Absolutely no worries! We both should be happy with it, and MX needs it right!

And, I have learned over 30 years of working with graphic designers.. they have an eye that most of us do not and will see what many of us never will ... YOUR the eye and I will do my very best to represent it as you wish :-)

@CharlesV
Updated plymouth theme to 23.06.07
[+] shutdown animation shows again
[-] Like Freja, I too see a very faint rectangle around the logo
