So how do I set up a network share/folder on mx 21 host? Is the important feature being permanently dropped? How does upstream bullseye handle this? Instead of thunar rt click, we could setup shares using another app in mx19 if I remember. Please elaborate, have been bugged a lot by this on mx19kde systemd too. Hoped network sharing would work well this time.dolphin_oracle wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 2:35 pm@agnivo007 @SwampRabbit that thunar function used to call system-config-samba, which is not longer available due to the migration away from python 2. Thanks for finding the bogus thunar entry.SwampRabbit wrote: Sat Jul 31, 2021 1:04 pm @agnivo007 the Thunar Samba plugin may be missing, it was just packaged recently, not sure if that is the problem or not.
Can you see if it’s installed?
