<MOD: original stupid post deleted as well as the quote here.>

Not only have you never tried the KDE iso, I'm fairly certain you've never tried MX. If your intent is to be a jackass, you've done a fine job. Go back from whence you came.

by the by, VAAPI works fine, but you would know that if you bothered to try MX. We do do some things differently from debian.

and yeah, we are learning as we go. I suggest you try the same tactic.

Agree. I am usually diplomatic with stuff like this, but it went beyond the pale, as in feeble and unimpressive.

Maybe if it's worth it to list his points he is trying to make and see if they are worth investigating or addressing.
Some people have good intentions but don't know how to express them in a non offensive manner.

That was more than not knowing how to express his points. It was deliberate use of obnoxious language to cause disruption and invite a negative reaction. At which he succeeded.

I was just making a list, but I think the only one I'm actually going to look at is

--look into firewall configuration.

I trust the devs to objectively assess if anything he says has merit, but this was not a person who actually tried the iso and then didn't know how to express himself in giving real critique.

What kind of person would register with the forum just to go on a rant about MX releasing a Plasma Beta for testing, without ever trying the iso??
