Re: MX-Fluxbox 1.0 released
I used to play a lot of cushion billiards, and came very close to flunking out of college because of it. It's depressing to realize that the game still occupies a good portion of my brain, especially the right side where I am constantly planning shots when I look at objects (especially people's heads) in the world.

Re: MX-Fluxbox 1.0 released
Installation involves two steps.
The base installation is enabled through the
MX Package Installer > Popular Applications tab, Window Managers entry.
Once that installation finishes, the user clicks an entry in the Menu “MX-flux” to initiate the second step: moving a few small files and folders to the user’s Home directory once permission has been given
The user then logs out, selects fluxbox from the session menu in the upper right corner of the login screen, and logs back in.

Re: MX-Fluxbox 1.0 released
This would be great, as in Antix. For me the workflow would be much better than useing "esc" or "right-click on header".JayM wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2019 6:23 amI want it such that if you left-click anywhere in the empty desktop it closes the menu.
Re: MX-Fluxbox 1.0 released
That is the outcome I expect in Fluxbox, so it is what I would want also.
If you open the right click menu on the MX (or Debian) Xfce desktop a left click on the desktop closes the menu, so it is what an Xfce user would also expect. (You can set the Xfce desktop right click menu to work like a WM menu such as Fluxbox, which I usually do)
Re: MX-Fluxbox 1.0 released
I've got it! Open Files in the menu and edit the file "keys". Change
to
Save, log out, log back in. Tested in both MX-19 and MX-18.3. It survives a reboot too. Much better!
FYI Mouse1 is the left button, Mouse2 is the middle button (press down on the scroll wheel) and Mouse3 is the right button.
Code: Select all
#Mouse1 :HideMenus

OnDesktop Mouse1 :HideMenus
