That's what I have and the time is correct here.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.

Re: New Forum Comments
I want to add my thanks to you tireless people who have set up the new system.
Especially peregrine and richb.
BTW richb, you are always on line when I am and there is quite a time difference between us. Do you ever sleep?
Thanks Brooko for offering to take it on.

I was just starting to accumulate points and I'd like to have it reinstated instead of starting from scratch. But it would be a big job.Brooko wrote:Yep - that's what I meant. Is there a way to bring the old rep in? Like I said, I don't mind editing members individually. I do think it is important. I just need the data.richb wrote:You mean the points already accumulated? I think not. User rep is implemented, under your Avatar, but we are all starting from 0
Thanks Brooko for offering to take it on.

Re: New Forum Comments
I get one automatically... I use Chrome Reader extension and it shows in the address bar, I just have to click on it and select where I want to put the feed.bigboppercole wrote:Thanks, I hadn't noticed them. I was looking for a site wide feed. And I guess I still am;)Adrian wrote:The feeds are available when you see the Forum Index in the right side of the forum titles. Now if I could just find the "Subscribe" button to add it to Google Reader.

Re: New Forum Comments
Two complaints. First, I was using the search function to find a fix that I once posted several months or years ago. I found it, but the links within the thread were dead. They were links to other forum posts. That makes it quite difficult to follow a bread crumb trail back to the original greqat advice. For example
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 77#p230477
The link in this post is dead. a minor annoyance to be sure, but sometimes I can remember a post I made, but might not remember enough info to get to the original post without going through one of mine.
Second, I don't know if it is the color scheme, the fonts, or what, but I find the new forum very difficult to read as compared to the old one.
These issues may have been addressed, but I was admitedly too lazy to read all 12 pages of this post.

Re: New Forum Comments
Just a couple of comments...nice going on the new place...looks good, I just need to get used to it. I do miss the "Mark forums read" thing, it'll be nice when that works again...and it took me years to get a few "thanks" together, I'd hate to lose 'em.
Happy Holidays to all...

Re: New Forum Comments
Obviously links to MepisLovers are dead because the forum is closed. There may be a way around this. Need to look into it.Louie1961 wrote:Two complaints. Color scheme is choice we made. You can try adjusting monitor gamma. There is a color change extension for Google Chrome that allows you to change the color scheme for a site. There are probably others for FF and opera. but I would try a gamma adjustment first.

No easy solution to this.Obviously links to MepisLovers are dead because the forum is closed. There may be a way around this. Need to look into it.
The best we can do is for users to report the link and we will have to manually correct each one.
