And all help requests you are supposed to provide the QSI - forum rules.
So it is a common problem after all and maybe also a package subject since Bouncy is to be found in "Enabled Repos".?
It is also a forum rule to write posts relevant to the topic. Maybe I am also too old because it hurts me to see so much text take up space in the forum database when not needed.

Python is problematic. I have almost entirely stopped developing in it as the shift on updates causes more problems then worth.

As for forum rules.. there are MANY times when the QSI helps us understand what is going on... and more often than not we are needing more just xyz on the problem
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

It's in the Debian repos as "bouncy", and also would throw the same error for me until I installed libglut-dev. That's not in its Recommended packages.

@Jakob77, you should tell us from the very start how you installed it and the name of the package, instead of making us play detective.

Don't forget to mark this as solved.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
