MX Package Installer makes it very easy. When you launch MXPI, the first tab you see will be Popular Apps ==> scroll down to the Kernels section, expand it and mark the Liquorix kernel you want to try and then click on Install at the bottom. On your machine this may take quite a while to complete, so be patient. When it completes, reboot.

I'll answer your question to @CharlesV here as well. All you need to do is to go to Repo Manager in MX Tools, tab over to Individual Sources and put a check mark beside the AHS Repo (it's at the very bottom) and then run any updates that appear.

OMG it works. It is not the exact suggested solution but below are the steps on what I did. I just guest that it will work taking a hint on provided solution topic about "Liquorix Kernel" and "AHS repo".

Steps:

• I downloaded the "MX-23.6_x64 “ahs”" iso image and burn or flash image it to my USB drive.

• I did a fresh reinstall of the MX Linux system on my "Macbook Pro Mid 2010 13 inch" using the ahs iso image.

• After reinstall I did run the detected update (it's the green box along with bluetooth, network, sound, clipman icons) at the status bar.

I'm not sure how to manually execute this on terminal (probably sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade) but on my fresh install of the system MX Linux detected I have new packages for upgrade. That's how I was able to click the green box icon.

• Reboot the machine.

Then voila! I can now see my home SSID "Pooh and Eeyore"

'm not sure how to manually execute this on terminal (probably sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade) but on my fresh install of the system MX Linux detected I have new packages for upgrade. That's how I was able to click the green box icon.

That'll work, but you may also want to install our "nala" package, and use the "nala" command as a drop in for apt. Apt will still work, nala is just better looking with more features.

Oh! yes, I will definitely do that and try to explore and play it around here in MX. I've seen how nala works but it was on Debian 12. I stop using it started when I've seen some weird funky behaviour but that was in Debian 12. I like nala I hope they will consider it as an upgrade to apt

To be honest, you will probably get the same funkiness in MX 23, though we have a newer version of nala.
