If you want 4 workspaces, you just use 4 glyphs. Workspace names would then be filled/outline/outline/outline, outline/filled/outline/outline, outline/outline/filled/outline, outline/outline/outline/filled. ;)
But I do wonder whether it might similar enuf to a folder that it function would be unclear.
There are other glyphs, eg. filled and outline circles.

The font-awesome website also has dice, which would enable up to 6 workspaces, but I'm not sure if they're included in the version we're using.

Code: Select all

session.screen0.workspaceNames:	1, 2, 3, 4,
Which looks pretty bare all by itself--and it's not clear that is naming and not counting--which I why I'm leaning toward "#1" instead where that distinction is clear.
To me, it looks odd when I bring up the workspace menu. I'm reading it as Workspace number 1, Workspace number 2, etc.

This makes more sense. Now I read it as Workspace 1, Workspace 2, etc. But that's just me.

How would one incorporate workspaces 7-12? fluxbox can have up to 12 workspaces maximum.

If you can have #1, can you not have Workspace 1?

That could mean translating 'Workspace', of course. Is an icon or ASCI art of some sort feasible, these being more universally recognised?

@1, [-1-], [-2-] ...?

These glyphs are in Hack Nerd Font
This font also offers simple blocks with digit only
and stack-lined squares with digits --> which I quite like :)

fwiw: nearly all fontawesome glyphs are included in the Hack Nerd Font...

Where can those be found? I'm not seeing them in the repo, unless they are under a different name.
