If the nordvpn repo is enabled, you'll see a new package called nordvpn-gui that can now be installed. Just open mxpi or synaptic and do a search.
Wish I had checked back with this thread sooner. I went and followed the directions from Nord's web site and installed the GUI that way. :hitmyhead:

I must say, that's actually nice. The GUI picked up my settings and login credentials. Clicking on Quick connect will connect me to the Seattle server just like the CLI does.
I can also connect to either the P2P or Double VPN server from the Specialty servers tab. I would definitely recommend this to new users of NordVPN.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

It's OK on my PC monitor, but on my lappy's hi-res screen, the text in the gui is TINY, in the midst of a fairly large fixed size gui window.

Changing xfce font and dpi settings do nothing to the gui font size while the rest of my system gets larger fonts.

Dconf-editor font settings also don't help from what I can see.

Hi ,

I wasn't happy with the earlier tray-app. And wanted an easier way to connect, and change settings. So I wrote my own GUI.

https://github.com/JayDevDo/NordVPN-TKGUI

A bit clunky, old fashioned deffo! But it does the trick. Needs python-pubsub and tk8.*

Happy to receive feedback on it.
Currently working on tab nr4 that displays meshnet and other linked devices.
