mybad - miss of 2nd and 3rd sudo after each && bridge. thank you AK-47 developer (good mind with good share of correction thank you! )

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo flatpak upgrade is the all bound correct syntax.

Linux is not stupid. logical thought process and application can attend to learning and putting order into methods of use.
"Don't Panic " always a logical answer. "trouble between Keyboard and Chair"
Learning is a process accepting failure is also part of the process to achieving the "Right Answers".
simply try and keep trying. Or as we all in as it shares. To error is being human. strive for the answers and we all move on.

ie: systemctl list-unit-files | grep 'something' - something is only the example not literal. change that to say avahi or saned. or ssh.service
Seriously. Bumping weeks old threads with a stream of consciousness technique like this is just taxing, in the long run. No matter whether it's written by a person or an algorithm of some kind. I mean, considering the content of the discussion, that ^ snippet I quoted is a good example of how erratic and free-association-like this stuff is.
