In fact, that was what I did first (I misunderstood, I confused the 'package installer' for synaptic ) that's why I said I had installed it with the installer, lapsus menti, -- now I reinstalled it again with synaptic, it doesn't work, I'm going to the package installer... no audio, no conection...

Anyway, no problem, if nothing can be done, I will uninstall it; I still believe that the most effective solution is to put more memory in the machine.

EDIT: I forgot to say that there is not audio in the other desktops, something is wrong with ...

I'm confused...Did you install synaptic? because I don't have it installed. I just used Package Installer.

Yes, that is why I was confused ... any way I'm going for to add more memory to this PC.

I decided to add a 120GB SSD card, so as not to have any more problems...
