MX-CoreBlue is a good one for displaying CPU frequency speeds.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Very nice, but perhaps a bit too much gobbledegook on that one? ;)
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Perhaps...If they just want to monitor the frequency speed of the CPU, they could open a terminal and type

Code: Select all

conky -t '$freq MHz' -o
it will place a window in the top left corner of the screen.
When they want to close it, they just press ctrl+c in the terminal window they typed the command in.
