Easy test: start the liveUSB, does it happen there? If so, then you know to look elsewhere than your system.

No, it is ok with the liveUSB

If so, then you know to look elsewhere than your system.
*look somewhere other than your system* - what does that mean, what should I do?

@j2mcgreg

Comcast/xfinity -- but again, it is happening only in MX23

That means if it does the same thing on the live, there is something outside that influencing things.

As the live is fine, I'd say there is something wrong on the system itself. What is the last thing you did before it went wonky?

Post the urls for a couple of the videos where this happens so we can see if they are the problem.

Switch to the latest kernel -- but I go back to the previous kernel and now have the same problem.

The Kim Walker-Smith video played fine here. Have you tried using YouTube's own settings to make adjustments?

Please remove the second screenshot. Nothing political here, as you know.

Kim's video played fine here on 4K.

I got tired of the whole thing and reinstalled the system, it seemed to me that it was the fastest thing to do with ...

Now everything is perfectly fine, just like before, but... I have to upgrade! -- is there anything that I should take into account, before to update to avoid the same thing happening again?
