I dont watch enough YouTube to make a difference, but it would be interesting to know if one of these would help.

I'm not really seeing the issue using Ublock Origin with Firefox, though.

There's also the Video DownloadHelper extension on Firefox, though it requires a companion app be installed that was just updated, and that may now require MX 23.

Or the ClipGrab or QMPlay2 we maintain in the MX Repos.

Thankyou everyone on MX forum for helping in this matter. Seems @TTwrs and @CharlesV hit on the issue and the best course of action is to temporarily stop adblock plus for youtube or instal uBlock origin and see if that stops all the ads like adblock plus does and still allows youtube to function correctly. Mind you.. EBAY had this issue too with Adblock plus. I had to disable it for ebay.com and now I can search and browse that site with out the unholy lags and crashes and hang ups I reported here a year ago.

I need to a a little more research into using DNS that will adblock ... I think THIS is the way to really do what everyone wants and there is basically zero method for ebay, youtube etc to even KNOW its being done.

But the Youtube ads are coming from inside the house, aren't they?

I'm spoiled; I turned off UO for YT, and couldn't stand the ad storm.
