The link works for me now, but it was a little buggy when initially uploading.

Yes, I'm fairly sure that he means to reinstall, per:
It isn't enough to just remove the main packages because there's no way to tell what other dependencies were dragged in when those packages updated.
and seeing this in the forum several times - and dependency hell.

Or do a Timeshift, or reinstall with a personal MX-Snapshot ISO, if you made either of those.

It is possible that fschk is running..it can be disabled within the mx service manager and turned on again at the users discretion.
