To get a bit meta- (Not the company!!!):

@operadude , yes I needed to figure out how can I reply back to specific person in a topic as there is no reply button below the replies of specific person ( or maybe I am missing it ). So using "@" was my only option I guess !!

You can use the quote from the tool bar and it will look like this. (Also alerting the person you quoted.)

I was always using the "@" to alert folks.

Good to know after all these (4) years that the quotes also alert the person!
