Hi:
I have updated my unofficial of MX23 with only Mate, I have based on the MX-Linux 23.4 version with Fluxbox, I have kept all the MX-Linux tools, the only one that does not work completely is "MX Tweak" that only has the "Others" tab, although it has "Mate Tweak" and the "MX-Tour" app that only works in the official versions.
I have summarized the creation process and added programs, in case it helps anyone to build their own respin in a post on my blog.
English version:
https://sourceforge.net/p/senpai-respin ... ktop-mate/, there you can see some images of the system and how I made it...
Versión en español:
https://sourceforge.net/p/senpai-respin ... orio-mate/, allí se pueden ver algunas imágenes del sistema y como lo hice...
"
NEW"
Added to Live a Multi Kernel (LMK) boot in the 64bits version, in my blog there is a tutorial on how to choose between the two kernels...

Postscript:
SourceForge has asked me to remove the old ISOs due to free space consumption, if anyone needs them please contact me on the forum and I will gladly send you a download link.

Hi:
I have updated all three ISOs of my MX-Mate Respin to version 23.3, with the kernel change from the AHS version to the liqourix 6.8.9 kernel as in the official release.
Because it exceeded the free space on SourceForge I have split the downloads.
The AHS version is on my usual site at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/senpai-respins/
Remember that the AHS version with the new kernel liqourix 6.8.9 is recommended only for new computers, or less than 5 years old, for all others it is better to use the normal version of 64 bits, in fact in my computer of more than 8 years the kernel 6.8.9 gives me some error at startup, not so the kernel liqourix 6.6.12 that works perfectly. But each PC is a world and it may work fine for others...
And the x32 andx64 versions are at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/senpai ... ate/files/

Hi:
With some delay due to moving problems and with the BIOS update that left me without a laptop....
I have updated the three ISOs of my MX-Mate Respin to version 23.4, (Debian 12.7) with the latest liqourix kernel in the AHS version which is 6.11.x.
As the free space in SourceForge has been exceeded, I have divided the downloads, although for the moment and if Sourceforge don't say anything, I will keep them in both sites.
The AHS version is on my usual site at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/senpai-respins/
Remember that the AHS version with the new liqourix 6.11.x kernel is recommended only for new computers, or with less than 5 years old, for all others is better to use the normal 64-bit version that comes with the kernel 6.1.0-26.x, in fact in my computer more than 8 years old from the liqourix 6.8.x kernel already gives me some error at startup, not so the liqourix 6.6.12 kernel that works perfectly. But every PC is different and it may work fine for others...
The x32 and x64 versions are at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/senpai ... ate/files/

Hi:
I have updated the three ISOs of my MX-Mate Respin to version 23.5 (Debian 12.9) with the latest Liqourix kernel in the AHS version which is 6.12.x, and 6.1.0-30 in the others.
As the free space on SourceForge has been exceeded, I've split the downloads, although for the time being and if Sourceforge doesn't say anything, I'll keep them on both sites.
The AHS version is on my usual site at:

The x32 and x64 versions are at:

Hi friends:
I have updated my MX-Mate-23.6 respin, with some changes....
The installation ISO is now “LMK”(Live Multi Kernel), in the ISO menu you can choose the kernel to boot, between the default Debian 6.1 kernel or an “AHS” kernel from the MX-Linux repository, in this case the 6.12, by default it boots in the more advanced one, but for older computers where these kernels do not bring appreciable improvements, you can boot with the 6.1, I made a small tutorial in my Blog to explain the steps.
Here in English:
https://sourceforge.net/p/senpai-respin ... l-kernels/
Here in Spanish:
https://sourceforge.net/p/senpai-respin ... le-kernel/
Once installed the system has two kernels, with the tool “mx-boot-options” you can choose which one to boot with, and if you don't want to keep the two kernels, with “mx-cleanup” you can remove the one you don't want...
My download site:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/senpai-respin-mx-mate/
Observations: With Balena Echer and Rufus work fine including the kernel change, and of course the MX-Linux tool “MX-Live-USB-Maker”, with Ventoy the installation works fine if you use the default boot kernel, but the kernel change gives error and does not boot, but that's a problem of Ventoy, which does not cover that need....
