I'm suggesting we consider this for MX Test:
https://gitlab.com/AshersPrograms/asher ... ree/master
I only have a simple tablet but the release in the Packages folder installs on Bullseye and Bookworm, works well with it and seems to test OK for my device. We see users looking for more advanced tablet apps and this would seem to fill that nicely:

What I'd really like to do is fork it, do a bit of work on GUI irregularities and add a Help button that opens our Wiki page.

Yes, please.
The pen/stylus versions of the ThinkPad X220 Tablet and X230 Tablet use Wacom hardware in their screen digitizers.

OK, I have worked through various problems in its source and install, and think I've got good packages building for MX 21, at least.

Here are the MX 21 and 23 packages; builds error out on 19 due to its qt5 being too old, I guess.
Please remove their package before installing mine, I put dashes between words in the package name, and they share some files, so will conflict.
If it works well enough, could you forward the link to Tim for the packages to go into main?

Installed fine on both, ran the File > Just test and it connected correctly with the pen moving on the tablet.
Sent link to Tim.

I think I could have added that it
Code: Select all
Breaks:asherswacomtabletquickconfig
in debian/control
to make it install over that developer's package, but technically that's not mandated, because that package's not in the repo.
If we get some translations and it gets an update, I'll add that line.

OK. I first got an error on MX-23, then realized that I just needed to first remove the existing package.
BTW: I updated
the Wiki entry to include this, which must say is now pretty nice.
