Before and after moving - using that Panel Preferences.

Not sure what you exactly want.

But if you use docklike and have pinned your applications you normally need and if you want to change the order of this pinned Apps, then you can open the config file ...

~/.config/xfce4/panel/docklike*.rc
... and change the order there.

That moves them all as a clump. They are not individually moveable WITHIN THAT CLUMP wherever you put the clump.

Correct, and Duliwi has the method to move them inside that DockLike area, individually.

Yes, I could. However, I'll pass on that method.

You can Control+Left Click and drag icons around in the Docklike Taskbar without editing the config file.
