Installing MX KDE on a Windows 11 for dual boot

I have a Dell XPS 13 (9310) with Windows 11 Pro on it. I had installed MX linux from a live USB without a hitch. I did disable secure boot in the BIOS, and did have to type in the (infuriating) Bitlocker key, which I had written down in case I would need it. The system works perfectly in both Windows 11 and in MX linux, except for the fact that SUSPEND does not work correctly, and every time I go into Windows, the BIOS time is changed, so that it is incorrect when I go into Windows. Since I hardly ever go into Windows, the time issue is moot. The suspend issue is much worse, especially since people have been complaining about it for years. This was done by Dell by design, which probably included ignoring their users' wishes-- a common Dell practice.

Verify correct Time Zone is set. The default is (UTC ?8:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

1. Right-click in the time and select 'Adjust date/time'
2. Scroll down and click 'Add clocks for different time zones'. In Windows 11 this section is called 'Additional Clocks'.
3. Click the 'Internet Time' tab
4. Click 'Change settings...'
5. In 'Internet Time Settings' Edit the 'Server:' to be time.nist.gov
6. Check 'Synchronize', click 'Update now', and then OK twice.

Reboot the PC and check the Firmware setting for the correct Time Zone, Date, and Time. Some PCs may only have time settings.

Windows clock in his video is 4 hours behind Ubuntu. He set Ubuntu time zone to Detroit, Michigan (Eastern USA Time Zone - 4 UTC).
