Thanks, Jerry! This is a wonderful radio player...always found others to be awkward (those that were generalized audio players) to use for internet radio...this one is great!

Super, exactly what I was searching for :)

I always like pyradio. Nothing fancy, but easy to work with and edit it.

This is awesome! Thank you so much. Definitely going into my favorites.

Nice app for sure, drawing the stations url details from the radio-browser.info catalog.
It is a bit of a memory hog though (see below screenshot, showing ram-consumption while in idle state).
Since I mostly listen to some 20-25 or so, national NL+BE radiostations, I created a 'radiostations.xspf' playlist in audacious. Minimizes to systray, no need to pause first before app-closing :), showing notifications etc. Works a charm.

I just installed the latest dev version of tuner using pacstall. Seems to work just fine on my Debian-Sid machine.

Re: Is anybody trying the wonderful Tuner for internet music radio?
This is due to the Background Playback feature introduced in version 1.5.0 where it will continue to play if closed.Jerry3904 wrote: Wed Jul 27, 2022 9:00 pm One quirk: you have to click the pause icon before you kill it, otherwise it just keeps playing along with no icon in the systray to use.

Version 1.5.1 changes the pause button to a stop button.

I saw that on the GitHub site, thanks.
