In Ontario, that wouldn't be allowed. The authorities here stipulate that there has to be at least a fourteen day window between vaccinations for different diseases. You might want to check with your doctor before proceeding.

You can get them both at the same time here in the UK.

Same in upstate New York. It is not a problem getting them at the same time according to the CDC. (Cenetr for Disease Control)

Two week rule, strict, here. I have already had my flu shot, so, no biggie there.

We cannot make random appointments, we have to wait till our year comes up (they're at 1961 now, 6 months after the last shot for me is early Jan), and we don't get to choose which we get jabbed with. Either Pfizer, or Moderna. 1st and 2nd shots were Moderna here, so I am kinda hoping it is that.

... Here it's 5 months after the second vaccine, and the youngs (+18) can have the shoot before the -65 years old people ... it's the jungle, the mess .
but +65 can have the shot without appointments (if enough vaccines are available in the center).

No no-appointment shots here either. Also, they forgot the chronically ill here. Those who got both their shots very early on. Those folks have to wait now till their year comes up. I have all sorts of thoughts about that, but I will just stick to the facts here. ;)

In NZ, I have seen jab tents setup outside the supermarkets, in carparks and in seemingly random places as I travel around the Coromandel Peninsula for my work. Seeing these makeshift jab stations doesn't give me any confidence in the quality of care provided, especially when in my home town, one was set up on the side of a very busy state highway with traffic fumes, dust and debris. It seems anyone can simply front up and have the jab.

I just got my booster an hour ago. Where I live the county did many drive thru vaccination clinics last year. Since college was limited to online classes then and there were no sports at that time one of the sites they used was Autzen stadium. Now 6 months later students are back in college and sports are back so they are limited to smaller venues. So we have a lot of back up right now of people trying to signup online to get the covid vaccines but not near as many spots are available. In addition to that a local chain of stores here in the northwest announced in October that they were closing their pharmacies and they had sold them to Walgreens. So lots of people changing pharmacies and looking for places to get covid vaccines. It definitely takes some time here to get an appointment.

Well guess what. We just had a press conference, and they are going to speed up the boosters, so that by the 2nd half of Jan everyone 18+ can have had the shot offered.

I should be getting notified by text, being in the flu shot group (part of the chronically ill people), by about mid next week, and be able to get an appointment in to get the shot when that happens.

They are also shortening the 6 month after the 2nd shot period to 3 months to be able to get a booster.

So.... wait and see when my name comes up ;) But at least it is good news for me.
