Upgrade to Windows 11

I heard yesterday that a new version of Windows was released.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to upgrade MX-19.4 to Windows 11.

I have been using

Code: Select all

sudo apt dist-upgrade
and

Code: Select all

sudo apt upgrade windows11
Has Windows 11 reached to repositories yet?

You should post your QSI, then we can tell you your machines doesn't meet the minimum speciation as it wasn't made in the last 6 months.

Personally, I follow the "just say 'no'" approach to such upgrades.... :needcoffee:

Only if they're the kind where you can toboggan down afterwards.

Since switching to MX Linux, I have occasionally wondered whether or not MS still made operating systems but couldn't be bothered to ask DuckDuckGo. Thanks for letting me know. Now I am only wondering WHY they still make operating systems. ;)

I can't get MX Tweak to fix the Windows 11 desktop.

Maybe I need to add some random PPAs?
