@Arnox not sure what your comment means about scrolling, scrolling works sure Arnox in Ff, but can you change from 3 lines at at a time to say 12 lines for every click of the mouse scroll wheel?

OK, I feel retarded. Turns out autoscrolling was disabled after all.

But then again... Why is it disabled by default on Linux and not Windows... ? o_O

Don't feel retarded at all @Arnox, you are correct in that the system wide setting for increasing the amount of lines the mouse scrolls doesn't work in KDE. It appears that has existed for some time.
Auto scrolling in Ff is a different thing..
Why auto scrolling and windows in Ff is set different is the least of my worries with windows :bawling:
Being able to set the amount the page scrolls; lines per-click with the mouse scroll wheel was meant to be fix in Wayland from 5.19 on.
Should work in the new version of MXlinux KDE 21 but you say it doesn't.
We live in hope, but a minor point really, the rest of the Linux system just makes me so happy to be back, especial what the MXlinux dev crew does.

Let's keep chewing on the issue, that's how things get fixed.

Cheers NH

Just to report, I am facing the same issue on MX Linux 19.4 KDE.

Also, I was wondering if there is a good software to control mouse settings? I have got a basic Logitec Gaming mouse G403, with a few buttons I would like to use.
I could find a probable tool : https://github.com/libratbag/piper/, but I couldn't get it to install on MX Linux. I am new to Linux and in the installation page, the links are available for all the versions but except Debian 10 which MX seems to use as of now.

If anyone has a better solution, please let me know.

You can just install Piper from the MX package manager.

Very interesting but gives errors when you want to select keypresses (this one: https://github.com/libratbag/piper/issues/431). Lots of stuff on forums, but no solution that I could find. (or was smart enough for ;) )
