FSearch just had its first stable release (0.1), is it possible to update the package in our repos?
github
Thank you very much in advance.

Looks very doable since they have it pretty much ready to package, if someone else doesn’t get to it before the weekend, then I will. I’m away from home and can’t package anything right now.

I have some free time, so I'll take a hack at it.

Sent it up to test repo, though it may not update automatically due to a bug in the mx19 versioning that makes it higher than 0.1. In that case, remove the package, then reinstall from the test repo.

Thank you guys!
@Stevo I installed from the test repo and the version showing is 0.1b2+git20191012-1mx19, this is still an old version I think?

I installed
fsearch_0.1-1~mx19+1_amd64.deb but when I try to run it I get the error:
Code: Select all
fsearch: error while loading shared libraries: libicuuc.so.67: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

FWIW. It installs fine for me on MX21 (comings from the stable repos) in MXPI (v 0.1.1 of fsearch)

Nice to know but apparently @pemartins is, like me, still running 19 and not 21. There the error persists and I have reverted to the final beta which I still had lying around.

It gave me an error om MX19.
I installed libicu67 (67.1-2~mx19+1) in synaptic and it worked.

Sent it up to test repo,
I can not confirm this. The stable version is not in test repo. In test repo is still the older beta version.
But in stable repo is the newer stable version.
So in test repo is now an older version of Fsearch than in the test repo.

I can confirm this error. I have first deinstalled the old version from test repo, after I have installed the newer stable version from stable repo. Then I got also this error.
(It does also not help, when I check "also install recommended packages".)

Thank you. I was also successful this way.
I have installed libicu67 in MXPI:
