For the uninitiated, step 1 can be done on the same machine if you can tether a cellphone. The USB connection is speedy enough to do the clone, and once your wifi is working you can disconnect.ograterol wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2020 9:37 am Finally, my wireless NIC is working

- git clone "https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce.git" (before i had downloaded via another machine, the master.zip file instead of cloning the git repo)
- cd rtl8821ce
- sudo m-a prepare
- sudo ./dkms-install.sh
- sudo modprobe 8821ce ( i had not run this command before, but i saw with lsmod the new driver active)
- reboot
