You don't need "Tiled". i_ri was incorrect. I provided a link for him that explains the difference between tiled, stretched, centered, and so on. The default is "stretched" so you should set it at that. I don't know what you think the default MX-19.2 wallpaper is that you like so much but all available wallpapers are there.

Also, If this is solved to your satisfaction, could you please edit your original post #1 at the very top of the topic by clicking the pencil tip icon, the one circled in red in my screenshot image below (yours won't have the red circle)

No matter what I try stretched, zoomed, it makes no difference, I suspect it's in another folder.

i_ri is incorrect. The xfce settings adjust only the window that it is in and no other. I slipped a cog. I did not aim to be misleading. I apologize for wasting your time.
