Perhaps the Best Stable Distribution

Thanks to all for your responses. Here I am going to clarify my methods for downloading ANY new software. 1st I always check the MX Software installer whenever I see something I want to install, and I did make some erroneous statements in my original post : I did use MX Package Manager to install Oracle VM, Keepass, Teamviewer. I used the other method to install XAMPP and Word Press. I uninstalled both XAMPP and Wordpress today and installed from the package manager the following: local web server and wordpress. I will see if that works out better than installing "basically" the same software--without Pearl. @junoluna: could you point me to information on MXPI?
I shall mark this post as "solved" if that is a requirement for my post here, although I would think that it wouldn't be since it was more like a comment about how much I LOVE MX-Linux!! But let me know if I should.
I would also like to add that this forum is the best forum that I've ever been to. Thanks people! wb12
