welcome - maybe you are aware of element 115 muscovium. that would take you to warp speed.
Thank you winemaker.
Yes, I would love to actually see some Moscovium {assuming it was behind some appropriate radiation shielding). Unfortunately, the most stable isotope synthesised (so far) barely has a half-life of 0.6 seconds. One day though, maybe.

Welcome! What kind of rig are using MX on?
I use MX on my "newest" computers, usually Core2Duo with 2GB RAM and up. I recently bought an i3 8th gen with 4GB and now have MX-19 up and running. For my older stuff I use antiX.

Hello Seaken64 and thank you.
I've got 18.3 running on two fairly old AMD quad cores (one is defo an FX, the other possibly an A10) and a nearly ten year old Toshiba Satellite laptop. I've got 19 on a live USB at the moment, will probably get round to installing it on the hardware in the new year. I need a new system drive for my primary machine and that will have to wait until after Christmas anyway, might as well do it then.

The oldest I've run MX on is an Pentium-4 3.2Ghz with 4GB RAM. It's runs pretty decent but the fan can get pretty loud! Should run great on the quad cores. I've also noticed good results running only from USB 2.0 without installing to HD. But will probably be best with a new SSD. On this current i3Gen8 LT MX is fantastic with no lag at all.

Greetings from sunny Cornwall, UK
I have just started using MX Linux after changing from Mint which I have used since 2012. I wanted a lightweight distro than ran xfce and a saw a review for this on the Linux Today website so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Still finding my way around but very happy so far. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it seemed to run from a USB stick. I have it running on an Acer Aspire 5349 laptop with 4gb RAM and 750 GB hdd
