I am upgrading/updating using MX Updater but the server / mirror is very slow ... How to change to a fast mirror/server and which ones are available?

Check the attached screen shot. I have a 100MBPS direct fibre connection.

Will try that but then the slow speed should be same for MX Updater and via Browser Download ...

Why browser download is fast and MX Updater download is slow?

No idea. Maybe your chosen repository mirror serves apt requests from a different server which could be slower or have a heavier load than their https server does, or that uses a lower bandwidth priority in their router vs. their web server?

I had the exact same problem as yours. Using the web browser, everything was working fast but somehow using the update manager it would take like 13 hours to download something that was only 52 mb. Somehow, this is what worked for me.

I noticed that updating was extremely slow when using my 4G sim card in my 4G router. And that was in spite of the fact that everything was working just fine on the browser. I decided to try my old 3G sim in my 3G router. For some weird reason, the update worked just fine. Within minutes I was done.

I don't know why but that worked for me.

I had the same problem, when I try update mx linux from terminal. I try to change my mx repo using repo manager, but it is not good either. So I restart my laptop, and got notification from MX Updater, and then I'm using mx updater to run update for my mx linux. The result that I found, it is more faster using mx updater compare to using teminal if I want to update my linux.
But it is still had some issues when the updater get the repo from deb.debian.org, the update geting slower.
maybe someone can give some explanation.

Try using any of these repos (AFAIK, these are the ones maintained directly by MX) :
https://mxrepo.com
https://la.mxrepo.com
https://it.mxrepo.com
https://nl.mxrepo.com

To sagsaw et al: I suggest that you do a search on your isps to see if they are known to throttle traffic at peak hours. If the answer is yes, try doing your updates overnight.

Oh sorry, I'm going to update my comment before, but I don't know how, so I post it here.
Two days ago, I tried to update using MX Package Installer, and I'm using connection from my android phone this was not I usually did, but because before that day, I was using my wifi to update It was very slow. But when I was using connection from android phone, I was so fast. It's make confuse, what was going on with these update server. I did check my Wifi and I's fine, I was using that connection all time even watch youtube in high resolution.
maybe someone can help to explain.

You are confusing transmission protocols between the two network access methods. In a cellular network, high bandwidth (speed) must maintained in order for voice calls to be coherent and low latency. In this type of network, a user is charged for access time and data usage (in Mb).

In the cable, dsl, or fibre access methods, a user generally pays for data usage in Gb/month and bandwidth (transmission speed in megabits/sec). The more bandwidth a user purchases, the faster his / her transmission rates will be.

Oh yes, that's true. But most of my time, my wifi connection is more faster than my android phone connection. So it was make me confused, because when I was updated mx linux using android phone connection, is more faster then using my wifi, even I have to lost my data on it

At this point in time, this problem seems to be unique to your internet connection and not a fault with MX. Otherwise there would be multiple ongoing complaints posted here in the forum. We will try to help you solve it or explain it, but you have to give us all the details pertaining to your wifi connection eg:

-- the name of your ISP
-- the bandwidth specified in your contract with the isp
-- the allowed data use per month and what happens if you exceed the data limit
-- the make and model of your modem/router
-- how many devices are currently accessing your wifi connection
-- finally, you need to post the Quick System Info for your laptop (see the signature area of Huckleberry Finn's post above for instructions)
