Just one page opened a topic dedicated to voting for the favorite distribution, and it is a good way to position MX by making our votes there, so here I leave you in a link to vote.

This is an interesting idea.
Which will be more realistic --page hits or weekly votes.
Maybe they will offer a service of adding my vote weekly, automatically?

I wish they would have posted it in English. I voted for MX Linux.

It's in English, just have to scroll down a bit. :)

They appear to have an interlock system to prevent multiple voting by one person. Wonder if it resets every week ?

Y vamos cada día subiendo como un cohete.

@Gordon,
Wonder if it resets every week?
Surely not. Distrowatch doesn't.
So, the votes keep accumulating.
If one is still using and recommending MX, then go back weekly to add another vote.
It is another angle on page hits; perhaps more useful, but still easy to game the system.

Sounds very much like cheating to me. A memory of my brother many years ago with a couple of his mates, spending half an hour jumping on a traffic counter rubber tube stretched across the street at 2.30 am one Sunday morning.

Yep. Like Richard said, easy to game the system, no doubt. Like at DistroWatch, there's no way of telling how many people go there each day just to give their favorite distro a page hit, so the rankings are always suspect, IMO. And I find it interesting that at some distros' forums it seems like there's always somebody talking about where that distro stands in the page hit rankings; at other distros' forums, seems like the users couldn't care less about that sort of thing.

It is quite curious that 386 people have read this post and only 40 votes appear in the ranking ...
Is it that they are not happy with MX that they do not dare to vote for a distribution that facilitates everything?
You can leave your vote here

I tend to just use, & promote, my favourite distros - word of mouth - is so much more worthwhile.

I don't care if they think *buntu is the greatest distro - it does nothing for me - & that is what matters.

I've been using AntiX for a few years now, never had any problems with it, so have always been happy to recommend it to people looking for a good distro - & yes, I have quite often mentioned MX too.

Now that all my screens are 'wide', I am entertaining MX on my machines again - not sure if it's better than AntiX, we shall see, it's a lot bigger installation, but I am over my super lightweight phase nowadays, apart from fiddling with TinyCore, & sometimes SliTaz. ;)
