@Melber

I'm using mx-ease-themes 25.09.03.

In the Whisker menu...

When I navigate the category pane with my keyboard, there's no indication of which button has the current focus. Code like the following should fix the problem:

Code: Select all

#whiskermenu-window .category-button:focus {
	border-color: #fff;
}
Also, while hardly important, the icons in the treeview are looking a little cramped to me. Code like the following might improve the spacing:

Code: Select all

#whiskermenu-window treeview {
	padding: 0 3px 0 1px;
}

Corrected on our *.mxrepo.com repositories. Third party mirrors will update on their normal schedules.
Thank you, I was able to successfully update off a mirror.

@jc7006 your first post in this thread contained a dismissive tone and we can see you've tried to assist with feedback and become frustrated by this particular thread, but I'd like to point out that we do not make guinea pigs out of people who are invited to willingly come onboard for the purpose of testing and feedback. If any were the guinea pigs, it was everybody in the core development team and various admins as they found time between their paid work, family commitments and spare time to willingly and cheerfully gave to the cause over the months it took to get this first public beta off the ground, and we are a small team, not a corporate entity with thousands of paid employees.

Early beta testing requires the mindset of one who is willing and glad to lend a hand with finding and reporting bugs, fulfilling all the necessary requirements while reporting bugs and yes, that may mean reading through the forum pages to see if it has already been filed, irrespective of the conditions under which the forum pages are structured. Even a skim-read is usually sufficient to pick up on a detail concerning something you wish to report. The team work with what we have and DO has a reason and purpose for having all release types under this one thread. I can tell you with absolute certainty, the core devs work harder and longer than you could possibly imagine during the early stages of development and testing and they have no time to deal with grumblers and those who think they can treat them as they would a paid servant.

If you're willing to continue with participating in beta testing, please go back and carefully re-read the first post, and take note of the requirements of reporting issues. These are not mere suggestions, they are absolutes, that is the way when working in IT circles. The good folk here do not have time to act as mind readers or play guessing games with incomplete reports and bellyaching statements coming from a those with a mindset of entitlement. You are welcome to stay around and participate if you wish, but don't be calling us names or speaking as if we owe you something. We all give willingly because we love the project and the freedoms offered in the final product.

The option to enable Hibernate in Tweak is not working.

Note: Hibernate option checked in the installer.

Not all beta software are the same. I'm sure the fine folks over at Pop have a swarm of developers working on their project.

A couple of fixes that would be nice to have out of the box:

Master volume reset
(it just happened in MX-25 XFCE systemd after logout/login):

Battery drain
(if not fixed upstream):
