Can we seperate the feed for XFCE And KDE in the forums so we won't have to search for all KDE stuff in one thread for XFCE and KDE and also the other distro which name escapes me now.

MX 25 Beta1 KDE, Problem with Synthing

I currently operate two MX 23 KDE computers with identical configurations. A file is synchronized with Syncthing on both PCs.
This works perfectly.

Now, MX 25 KDE beta1 has replaced MX 23 for testing on one of the computers. MX 25 was installed on an empty SSD and all apps from the MX 23 configuration were added.
The network connection between the two PCs remains unchanged.

Almost everything works perfectly, but syncthing displays the error message “127.0.1 connection refused. Check proxy and firewall” when starting.
The error also occurs when the firewall is disabled. A proxy is not set up, at least not that I know of.

Does anyone have an idea?

I agree that going from MX 23 Plasma 5/X11 to MX 25 Plasma 6/Wayland (KDE) may lead to some bug reporting that are not actually related to the MX "whole package".
So far I can only say that Plasma 6 is not 100% implemented, or that I missed some settings, etc.
I may fear that the systemd implementation might cause troubles (I had some, maybe not related, I'll see, it's just a test for now).

Thanks guys !

“127.0.1 connection refused. Check proxy and firewall”

It should be 127.0.0.1 did you type it wrong here or that's the message?

Do you have syncthing app installed? If it's not installed you cannot connect to it... if it's installed, start it from the command line and check the debug messages posted there.

Did you read this? It's not about being in the same folder it's about having them registered with fontconfig (not sure if accurate but that's what I got when I searched for the issue):

"Because Conky (with use_xft = true) only sees fonts that are registered with fontconfig. It won’t load a .ttf just because it’s in the same folder."

That's fine, this thread is not as much for users to search for issues if for reporting issues. We should be able to figure out what the report is for if we see the QSI. Maybe in the future we'll split the report but in a way it makes it easier for us, we don't have to monitor multiple report threads.

I have installed with many problems
1) I can not login in Wayland only in X11 and I had to add some parameters to boot options
2) There are many problems appeared in the dmesg log file and I had to install the free nvdidia drivers to my system
