Has anyone reached/installed full enlightenment?
I am planning on installing enlightenment wm and would like to know if it works well with MX tools.
I noticed that there was a respin using enlightenment but that appears to have disappeared. Where there any issues with it?

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Hi,
Actually much more refined and more base-oriented Respins of AVL-MXe with Enlightenment and MX-Moksha (MX+the Bodhi Linux Moksha DE) will be be coming later this summer using MX-25/Debian Trixie as a base. If you're interested in the best possible experience with Enlightenment/EFL and MX it (hopefully) will be worth the wait. Switching to Enlightenment over the course of MX-23/Debian Bookworm taught me volumes and was the catalyst for a lot of improvements.
In the meantime if you want much less Audio Video baggage then you might like the last AVL "Greatest Hits" release or the more recent MX Moksha proof-of-concept release:

Hey, I'm having the same problem. bandshed.net hasn't been working for days.. probably weeks... I forget how long ago I tried taking another look at AV Linux.
I get one of these pages:
"The connection has timed out
The server at www.bandshed.net is taking too long to respond."
That said, I've got a perfectly good working Ubuntu Studio install on the laptop so, I'll wait until there's a torrent available for MX-25 to be available. Is it possible to install both E and Moksha in one system and see which works best on my machine? (Latitude E62501 OR Purism Librem 13 v2 -- both fully upgraded)
BTW:
I play a few instruments. Recorded a long time ago. Played many shows. Metal & NYHC. Always advocating a few GNU/Linux distros!

Sorry, for me bandshed.net and the AVL Website is working fine but here is the download folder if that helps.

You can't run Enlightenment and Moksha within the same install, they share too many configs and Moksha uses it's own version of EFL. You can install them both as separate Operating Systems on the same computer.

Just tested, bandshed responds normally from over here (Finland).

Working fine from the NL as well. Might want to try a different browser.

Yeah, that's funny. The downloads subdomain works but, the main one does not. Tried via IronFox & Brave Mobile just now.
Maybe the main site has something to prevent it because I'm using a VPN? (The USPS and a few other particularly "hostile" websites give me the same problem. heh.)
It must be their DNS. ? Tried a handful of different countries with the same provider.
I guess it is something to do with my VPN and your hosting provider. I'm not even allowed to post this reply until I switch servers....

And there's your site! Holy canoli!

Re: Enlightenment/EFL
I had a VPN for a time and it was a paid one and pretty reputable and I couldn't do online banking or use my streaming services or browse certain websites either. I frequent about 10 sites and forums none of them are anything skeezy at all. Once my subscription was up I cut it loose because it wouldn't let me do ANY of the things I had signed up for it to protect me from...
